Regret i feel,
full of sorrow,
as the Reaper shall come
early the morrow.
for granted i took
our sweet blissful love,
pure and precious,
the white newborn dove.
gone it is now
in the land of the past,
gone now, nay, ever more
the bliss of last.
i reach out again
to feel your soft tender lips,
to hold myself,
to your perfect smooth hips,
you leave me be,
fill your world with joy,
what was once your man
now only a weak little boy,
i had
forever, yet an instant,
the heaven of perfect love,
taken from me,
heartbeat,
violent, cursed shove.
i lie next to you,
quietly stroking your hair,
never before, never again
will there be a maiden so fair.
your touch brings hope,
your lips, passion,
unique your warm embrace,
even in a most common fashion.
my heart was found,
thought not to exist,
though now it lays lost
in this dark, bubbling abyss.
my eyes search for you
near far and yonder,
without you i sit,
emptiness i ponder.
to the ends of the earth,
to the very edge of time,
i will travel for you,
for i am thine.
day you give me hope,
night you give me fear,
one day again may i have
the love i hold dear.
Author notes
i have hope, and i have her in my heart. whatever she must do, i am here for her, arms open and waiting, willing to go to the ends of the earth and the edge of existence for her. i only hope she comes back to me, for i am forever hers.

Brandon this is a really heartfelt poem. I'm sorry that you two broke up, I know you are too. But everything happens for a reason, so just remember that, and hopefully she'll see what she's lost and you guys can have another shot.
Really a good poem.
Cheers,

aww brandon, this is amazing. I love it. All your poems truely come from the heart, and you can feel it with every word read.
