Someone always loves you
No matter who you are
What you've done
Or what you do in the future.
Of cause, the WAY you can "love" someone will vary
Sometimes you can love someone so much you hate them.
Or hate them so much, you actually love them.
Alternativly you can just generally hate someone, loath every-fucking-thing about them.
What they had.
What they have.
Who they are.
What they've done.
Where they've been.
What they've touched.
What they've felt.
The things they've experienced.
The things they've not.
But if we use this logic... i suppose it must be possible to just love someone.
The way they talk
Thet way they walk
The way they laugh
The way they cry
The way they touch you
The things they give you
The way they make you laugh, at the craziest things
How they make you feel:
Everythings always "ok" when they're around
When you think about it
Theres so much to love, or hate
About any one of us.

"a heartwarming piece of literature" - Oh what a simply devine description! I give my thanks for your kind words, for they often encourage me to write in times of desperate and dispair. It's suprisingly how often the words "Love" and "Hate" coincide with one another, and i felt it fitting to make this known to others. I agree; the ending could be improved enormously, but sadly, i have neither the time or the enthusiasm to partake in such a task. And to answer your question as to its name : Some say 'people go together like "Chalk and Cheese"' insinuating that they are infact, the exact opposite of one another - Could this not also be presumed for "Love" and "Hate"?.

I like it.
I like this poem alot. It's a very heartwarming piece of literature, and is also somewhat insightful. I like how you talk about the things that you can hate someone for and then turn all that around by talking about the things that you could love someone for. Keep up the good work. I think that the ending could be improved, perhaps by adding an extra stanza or repeating the first stanza and changed just a few things about it. Also, why is it named Chalk and Cheese?
