Happy Birthday, My Dear Daughter
An acrostic from Mom to you on your special day….April 30th
How often does someone come into our lives
As you’ve come into mine
Paying respects and giving love
Persian princess or pauper, thief
You’d still be the same for me, Shahrzad
Bringing joy to me each day
In all you do, each word of love expressed
Rings out in harmony
Thoughtfulness and love so warm
Hugs and kisses and more
Don’t forget I love you, too
Always in my heart you’ll be
You, yes, you my dearest one
May all your wishes come true
You deserve each and every one
Don’t ever change your loving ways
Eternally you heart will glow
Ask and you shall receive, my dear
Remember nothing is too extreme
Days and nights are filled with joy
As again you gaze upon your realm
Using your charms, your kindly soul
Goodness controls your every thought
Happy Birthday, my dear daughter
There’s many more to come
Each one is your special day
Reach out and it shall be
I’m so happy, Shahrzad, that you have picked me to be your mom. And I’m happy to say that you hold a place in my heart as if you were my own real daughter.
Happy Birthday!!

Beautiful! Shahrzad obviously loves this very much as much as she loves you. You've certainly shared a great relationship here. Keep it up. Nicely done.

Hi, Dee! Great acrostic you have made for our favorite persian princess, Shahrzad.
Loved the creative way you made a good line out of each letter in the acrostic, and making each stanza complete and independant.
I give you my applause, and I wish you best of luck in the contest!
