They sailed for five days upon the high seas
Drinking and singing whatever they pleased.
But then the wind died and the sails did deflate,
The Llama did halt, and the waves did abate.
They deployed the oars, and rowed with great zest:
For almost three hours they rowed without rest.
But as they became sober, and they lost their strength,
And the crew started complaining at length,
Encouraged the Captain in his piratish growl:
"Ahoy there me hearties, don't be giving up now."
After a pause, all the pirates agreed,
Resuming their rowing with increasing speed.
Sebastian did stride down the length of the deck
Wearing a chain that was strung round his neck.
"Faster, me hearties," he was heard to say,
"I want us to get there before we turn grey!
Great treasure awaits us," he reminded his crew,
"Gold we must seize without further ado!"
The pirates rowed faster til their oars were blurred.
The speed that they moved was almost absurd.
They rowed four more days, until late one night
The Two-Bearded Island came into their sight.
The crew they did cheer, and threw up their hands.
The triumph they felt then was grander than grand.
Sebastian he grinned a most piratish grin,
Revealing his teeth, made of rusty tin.
"Ahoy me hearties," he was heard to shout,
"We be almost on course; now helm, come about!"
The Llama turned hard, but Sebastian stood tall;
He was entirely too awesome to fall.
The Llama came up on the Island with speed.
The crew watched the Island approaching with greed.
The Captain stood proud upon the great deck.
The chicken for dinner was chopped at the neck.
"Arr," cried the crew, "There be our riches!
We hope that the gold be not guarded by witches!"
Sebastian did cough then and tugged at his collar,
But the crew was distracted by the first mate's holler:
"Drop anchor," he shouted, "We be close enough!
And hold on me hearties, for this could be rough!"
The anchor was dropped and they gathered supplies,
Excitement and greed shining bright in their eyes.
The Captain he led them, brandished his sword,
Having drunk all the rum in his sizeable hoard.
They lit up their torches, their bongs and cigars,
And all raced ashore under glittering stars.
They grouped on the beach, they shouted quite loud;
The crew of this ship was an unruly crowd.
"Quiet," called Captain, "Now silence yeselves!
And watch out ye feet for miniature elves!"
The crew was confused, 'til they smelled his breath
And knew he had drunk himself nearly to death.
They nodded as one and then picked up their gear,
And strode up the beach with not one ounce of fear.
Above the beach was a jungle, deep green.
The biggest damned jungle that they'd ever seen.
Sebastian strode forward, a grin on his features,
Sword drawn to slay any dangerous creatures.
And so they continued, these brave buccaneers,
Marching on forth with a masculine cheer.
