Bad Poetry

This is my poem.
You can take it or leave it.
You can
  Burn it.
     Bend it.
        Beat it.
But you can't delete it.
   You can hate it.
       Rate it.
   Score it, deplore it.
But you can't ignor it.

Line six makes no sense.
 The last stanza is crap.
"It" was overused,
  Thus, chaos ensued.
"Ignore" was misspelled.
  Welcome to grammar hell.

But your heated criticism,
Cannot melt my miscellaneous musings,
Because, hey,
     You read it, didn't you.

Author notes

    Quite good

quite an unusual poem of self deprecation cleverly done, well written, liked it. George ++++

Nicely turned! The last line is great.
Many authors in vain modesty put in their notes that the posted poem is not very good. (So why put it out there!?) This poem celebrates the irony of such thinking, but as it turns out, it's not bad at all.

haha... this is quite good and I like its pointed criticism and defiant spirit - that's what it's all about, you got it!

    Lolz

A fine idea on bad poetry. Its humor is somewhat true... these are the things we go thorough as writers of poetry. We express while learning the ways of a poet. I admit I am still learning.
I liked this piece cause lol... it made me really laugh. Especially on the part with the mispelled word and you folowing up to correct it. And I applaud you for that.

    Blessed be

    Lol that's great.
I especially liked the first stanza.
Turns out that 'bad poetry' isn't so bad after all,
    Because we can all relate.
