Captured

I love you before I've held you,
You capture all my hopes and dreams.
I wish the best life has to offer,
And each night I'm on my knees
Begging God to make you healthy
To make you loving and wise.
For you are all the world to me,
Everything in this mother's eyes.
Just know that you are truly loved,
And know that you are mine.
I will give you everything
Until the end of time.

Author notes

This is written for my unborn child, who has already captured my heart, hopes, and dreams...I love you!

What a sweet and loving dedication! This is a wonderful gift to be able to give to someone, to enrich their lives as they make their way through the confusing times of growing up. And such a cute picture with it's little finger on it's nose!
