A sleeping persona glorified by the dreams of yesternight
A heroic thought of breakthrough in a meaningless fight
A leap of faith in a nebula of evil, daunting human kind
A concept of a moment is my present state of mind.
A final, perfect resting place for an immortal soul
A stage of empowerment through knowledge, complete and whole
A chalice filled with happiness of someone who is blind
A was and never will be is my past state of mind.
A wals with destiny and it's only ever smile
A classic which in it's time was innovative style
A feeling of weightlessness never achieved by a feather
A future with no purpose unless we're together
A shout of helplessness of the one left behind
A probable nothing is my future state of mind.

I really liked this. It introspective and made the reader think and question their own 'state of mind.' Well done! A state of mind need not be achieved, it can be won, maneuvered, or dreamed up...Thank you for making me think today.
