I'm trapped,
I'm dying,
You've caught me,
Want to tie me down,
Snip my wings,
Leaden my feathers,
And never let me wash out the black,
Everytime I need to breathe,
I fall away,
You take me two steps back,
But one look at your face,
I will feel a snag,
I could never leave you,
Not because I care about our friendship,
Because I couldn't bare to seem that shallow,
Only one of us can live,
If I pull away,
I've made the desision,
But you've taken away that right,
Making me feel obliged,
To pull you from the rut,
While you do all you can,
But you're dragging me further than you have ever been.

Yesterday a kid showed me a picture of conjoined twins. Somehow this poem made me think of that. I don't know why...I guess it's the "Only one of us can live, if I pull away.." part. Anyway, this poem is a thinker and I like it a lot! Good job!
