I want to buy you a flower
That only I can see
'Cause you know I'm low on cash
'Cause I'm not where I  want to be

It’s hard for me to understand
Why you can’t see it, too
'Cause I know that you believe
'Cause that flower’s inside of you

Why can’t you see the dew drops fall?
When they land, all will shine
'Cause I knew it had a meaning
'Cause I knew you were always mine.

Author notes

Wait so totally rhymes with stake. Just like work and skirt.

Take that, Havard University.

The second line in the second stanza bothers me for its lack of question mark, but other than that, this was really pretty. It sounds like it could be set to a simple tune Jack Johnson or Modest Mouse would sing. Heh, anyway, I really like this. ^^ Good job, applause for the you.

They just have assonance, silly. This one was really pretty, though it seems incomplete. Is that the feeling that it's supposed to emit? I dunno. It was good though. Just keep updating more often, and make Roni too. Keep penning as always...
