Crystal Gazing

Eyes opened wide
Taking in the magnetism of the place
Drawn nearer
By their shape and colours

Caressed in their presence
Healing energy
I know what I'm looking for

Just by touch alone

Smoothed by time
Crafted with love
Blue-lace agate lifts my soul
Timeless
Majestic even with their flaws

I could stay here all afternoon
Such clarity
From ancient to modern
Harmony from the earth's core

My gifts bought
We talk of peace
Wisdom and joy
Sharing laughter, trying to put right
What has been wrong for so long

Gazing around
I would buy it all
If I could

But you know this

Cleansed and refreshed
Till the next time
I can crystal gaze once more
Soul searching
I head towards the door

I have a crystal ball I treasure (not the fortune teller's kind). My sister (who has since passed on) bought it for me after I told her I loved it. I have it hanging from the rear view mirror of my car (love to see all the colors bouncing around on a sunny day). Really enjoyed your poem and your background...I share your love for crystal..it's really beautiful!

'til 'I can crystal gaze once more' good line.
A good piece here, very good piece, I like the background think it accentuates the meaning behind it all a bit, or may be I am just drunk, or hope to be.
