Drowning

Last night I dreamt the most bizarre dream,
And I sit astonished trying to figure out what is was supposed to mean,
Me and a friend that I believed we closer than most people can get,
Were walking in the forest on a hot day, soon the sun was going to set!

We came to a cliff, a huge beautiful crystal blue lake about 150 ft below,
I tried to talk her into hopping in with me but she refused to follow,
Calling her a party pooper I took off running and leaped into the air,
Over the edge of the cliff screaming with the thrill of the scare,

My entire body submerged into the glistening lake with a massive splash,
And she stood up there yelling "moron" but we both continued to laugh!

But then, Sharp shooting pains shot up my legs into my back I screamed,
Had I broke me leg? Did I land badly? Because that's what it seemed,
Then the water that surrounded me was red  and spreading,
I was becoming faint ready to pass out, I began drowning...

She stood on the ledge watching no attempt to help, I screamed for her,
She did nothing at all..... she... didn't even answer...
My body submerged once again, I couldn't get back up for air,
My lungs filling with the wet stale water, I said one last prayer...

Then I'm hovering above looking, what'd I see? Her siting at the bank!
No effort to help, No tears, No pain, No scare, her face was BLANK!
She watched me die, when she had the ability to help save my life,
Its almost like..... She didn't want me to survive???..........
