The beauty of a wondering mind,
Where I live in a constant dream,
To look for the place I must find,
The peace of a flowing diamond stream?
To glide over those memories of life,
Those wonderful moments forever gone,
You cover those moments of strife,
And wish for those things you long,
You dive under glistening stars,
And fly on to explore another fantasy land,
But hide those painful yet distant scars,
And feel the silk touch of golden sand.
But now your mind must drift back home,
The mind is as vast and open as any world,
And imagination once again leaves you alone,
Our mind, where hopes and desires become unfurled!

This is really great! I agree with jh64 on the flowing but i really like it!! It reminds me of the way you feel when you read but then you have to return back to reality! I wonder...is that what you based it on?! I loved it!!!

That's good. You might be able to get by without flowing but it works with it too. Good write.
