Two for Romance on this Saturday Night

two romantic pieces,

with small musical accompaniments, the melodies which mirror the words...

I Feel the Heat of Your Eyes
   ( hear the melody... )

I feel the heat of your eyes
within my heart tonight,
within my heart tonight...

there's no escaping this desire...

I can’t escape you now,
you’re in my mind tonight...

now, or later,

my submission will be

completed...

us, two,

completed...

                  Enchanted Love
   ( hear the melody...)

(enchanted lovers...)

You’re close by-
I sense you are near...

Your kiss is like heaven,
I must confess
it's raining love,

it's raining love.

(...raining...)

right now,
right now...

I can’t be
expected to hide-

when you’re here within me,
I melt in your
enchanted love;

enchanted love.

Author notes

I just worked on this a bit yesterday, might as well see how it fares against all the other styles...

Windows note- you can right-click on the 'hear the melody' link, then choose 'new window' to have two windows, so you can listen and read at the same time...

you many have to begin the melody again, as some programs jump a few seconds into it, skipping the first verse or two...

In a list

What did you think

Three things, Wayne...First, I gotta win the lottery... & just for your info, Oklahoma City does have DSL & cable...I just can't get it...It would interfere with their computer, that they use for their business, which is why I'm on dial~up...& I have Windows98, thank you very much... Heyyy, maybe if my book sells well, I can get a new one someday...sighhh...& yeahhh, I'll be a Prairie Princess until they plant me... Wanda

Thanks Wanda. Now two things: First, you MUST get a modern computer! That 1995 model you are using should catch a fine price to collectors of antiques on EBay! Next, move to the city where you can enjoy FAST Internet, don't worry, you'll STILL be everyone's Prairie Princess!

Sighhh...I can't download anything, Wayne...suse told me they sounded prettiful, though...The lyrics read well, so I'm quite sure they are...& in my case, that'd be a Hope~FULL Romantic... Be well, Poet... Wanda

    Tunes.

I will check it out and see if I can get some music going tonight.

I am feeling kinda of lonely and the sound would do me good. Thanks for the sharing. I will see which song I like best. I feel from the words that it will be song number one.

These were very soft and romantic. I did not need to hear the music with them, I heard it in my head.

    Very well done my pet!

    very well written

Lovely words and emotions in these 2 poems. I like the idea of melting in enchanted love. I enjoyed reading these both.
