Mad

Marking time
waiting for the drop of doom
that never comes
because Doom itself
comes unnoticed
in bits and patches
and can't be seen all at one time
Mister Doom is sneaky.

The mad go mad instead of us
salvaging what must be forgotten
from other times
farther places and
further tunes and maladies
from darker places
the Happy-Ever-After
endings of stories
where Hell begins.

I agree that doom is quite a sneak. I just want to roll this insanity up into a little ball and play with it all day.

Wow I couldn't say it better myself. Some people don't come out at all like me I started to write and never put my poems out there because they were sacred to me but I learned from another. Anyway Your very talented.
