And finally laid to rest, serving long, and faithfully.
Loyal, to the every whim
speaker, of a muted dream
carefull under pressure
unbroken by the spiteful weight of
scattered thoughts, mindless drivel, rethought and
completely imperfect scrawl.
Your lonely work
privately treasured,
how selfish she could be.
continuing an arrogence
an air not of your own
some part of a lesser scheme
so loved and menial.

Tell me, Kim, how long have you and your pen been dating? Does Elton know? How long can you be in love with your pen and expect to love another guy at the same time? Huh, Kim, huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?!

This was creative. I'm just sorry it took me so long to get back to reading poetry. Continue writing. Please. You haven't written anything since April. Does your pen really deserve this type of treatment? Just how do you expect to tell the little pen children that you neglected their father, huh?
