Where would all the beauty go?

If nature were to close her eyes
and was unwilling to compromise.
Then what would happen to the earth?
When nature stopped giving birth.

If nature were to go away,
taking her beauty with the day.
Would we bow our heads in prayer,
and could we even breathe the air?

If nature were to rest her hands
and only create on fertile lands.
What would happen to the flowers glow
and where would all the beauty go?

    Wow!

Very thought-provoking piece. Was a wonderful-write. I'm hoping mankind would realize and stop before their actions came to that state.

Very well written poem. Life perserveres in such adverse conditions, even in isolation and loneliness. Enjoyed the read.

awe, how clever to associate the dry barren land to a beautiful act of nature to cause life to bloom even in the most unlikely places! Sweet write!
