what would that one wish be
Could it be that you'd fund success
and take pride for all to see
If I could have just one wish
I know exactly what I'd do
I'd place my hand in yours
and I'd give my wish to you
To repay you for so much
for everything that you've shown
For loving me unconditionally
a task I have never known
Of course I could wish for gifts
things alone I could never obtain
But if I had two wishes
my second would be to take all your pain
My past displays my failures
and regret suffocates most of me
If I could, I'd take it back
and be all you need me to be
And if I was granted just one more
my last one may sound a bit wild
but I'd wish the greatest wish ever
the opportunity to carry your child
