WHERE DID GOD GO?
I sought him not nor did I know
his spirit would be laid upon me
like a fire that cannot be tamed
every breath and sense I had
was filled with his holy spirit
I marvelled in my inability to sin
time became my enemy and his
fire seemed dim embers at best
I laid upon my bed and wept
His words were choked out
earthly cares became to much
his victory not a part anymore
many years were added to my fall
I was using earthly common sense
until a friend restored me to wisdom
DID YOU ACCEPT CHRIST AND NOW FEEL A BIT EMPTY OR HAVE DOUBTS?
1. God never leaves us nor does his Holy Spirit.
2. Our first filling is sometimes a special filling, we must not completely rely on feelings.
3. The bible is daily food to our spirit the flame grows weaker the less we feed our spirit man/woman.
4. Read his words in every way you can. Even if you don't feel different or understand your spirit does!
5. We cannot rely on ourselves alone, God created us to be with a spiritual family, we need each other.
6. Unforgiveness or harbored anger can choke God's work in our lives
7. Remember faith NOT feeling.......we cannot rely on evidence and God does not rely on us to work through us, only that we have faith the size of mustard seed.
8. Christian music touches our spirit like nothing else can second to God's word, feast on his music.
9. Praising the Lord builds your spirit. Try praying with thanksgiving and praise ONLY.
10. Speaking prayers out loud gives power to your prayers.
11. Every thought or word we speak has power to create life or death, this is why faith is important as well as taking captive all negative thoughts.
12. God teaches us how to lean on him and find him by taking us through dry or lost times remember the poem foot prints?
13. Doing and giving to others takes our mind off our ourselves and suddenly we find God's purpose.
14. Don't feel guilty for doubt we all must walk through tests, guilt only weighs us down.
15. Prayer, praise, worship, music and God's word...............You will feel the Lord's presence again!

Thank you for this great piece, and thank you for the tips at the end. I do really appreciate it. Please, aide me in prayer that He would glorify Himself in my life by teaching me what glory truly is, by breaking my heart and allowing me to see my sins as things that rob Him of deserved glory and please pray that He saves me from Satan's lies and deception all in the name of Him and His glory.
Thank you again, and best of luck in this contest. I pray that Christ help you, walk with you and glorify Himself in you wherever you go.

this is always a hard subject to speak about and I find myself at times questioning everything in my life but oddly when others faith fails the Lord fills me with words that just flow.....course I am not always correct noone is

I can feel your conviction in the words you write.
A feeling well received. Thank You. -
One minute I think there might be something the next I think I dunno. I guess when I kick the bucket I will know then or not know - depends, for if there really is nothing when we die, when we die that will be it
Spill ink and drink - wink - twist me into the shapely ape of love's nape.
