Forever Friend.

.

I meander around the heavens, each and every lonely night,
Searching out adventure in an enchanting shimmering light,
To mysterious far distant places and worlds seen in between,
Where stars burn forth intensely and the air is pure and clean.

Sometimes I meet dear friends from the present or the past,
For dreams permit wondrous fantasies that will forever last,
We Poets can do anything when dreamtime comes around,
Visions living past and present with feelings quite profound,

I often meet a fellow writer who receives my absolute respect,
She reveres almighty God and shows Satan her disrespect,
Many times I wish we had first met in earlier years gone by,
If we had met each other then we would never need to cry.

Destiny has ordained our journey from the actual day of birth,
To follow our predestined voyage while living upon this earth,
We understand the reality that we can never love each other,
So always maintain a special bond, like sister and big brother.

In fact we both remain each day many countless miles apart,
I receive sincerest thoughts from her large and caring heart.
We cheerfully meet in the heavens under shiny stars at night,
I smile eternally grateful while she cheers my lonesome heart.

So my dearest Friend Sandy or sandygram as all on AP know,
Our friendship daily prospers and continues fervently to grow,
We are both caring poets who see the good things in this world,
Uncaring of the spiteful hurts long past so many people hurled.

.

.

Princess Perdue Thank you Dear Shaz for both applause and a wonderful comment. I am so glad that you enjoyed this and it made Sandy cry. I have a version that was read onto an audio file by Rufina Caraid which blew poor Sandy away when she heard it. I have put the link below, because I think that you will enjoy it as well, just in case.

A wonderful poem of tribute to your lovely friend. You are so lucky to have such a lasting friendship and one that is true.Very often you find people who play hard and fast with frienships just for their own ends and needs which can be painful and frustrating so it is such a pleasure when you find someone with a true heart.Long may your friendship flourish, Ros

Shaz That is a lovely thought love, but it is between her and you, but her family is probably ten times larger than yours.!!! Honest !! Maybe you can get her to adopt you !! lol. I suggest you surf her page and there is the Family Groups after that. Incredible when you see it. Glad you enjoyed my poem, and you will see from the comments above, it did in fact make her cry. She has adopted me as her BIG BROTHER. and I am honoured to be that.

Soul Zero, thank you for an extremely perceptive comment, but that is my normal writing style which I call a "picture poem" as it is designed to put the same images and feelings into the head of the reader as close as possible to what is in mine instead of having to interpret meanings, as done in ordinary free verse. I hope you have time to read some more of my work. Regards Barry
