Simply Me






No words to describe me
asking friends what they think
all so happy to help
some even gave me a wink




Devoted, loyal, and special
just a few answers I received
captivating, intriguing, and tantalizing
this how I've been perceived




Others have claimed me to be
vivacious and mysterious
while some have said
sexalicious and even scrumdidiliumpcious




Nice and considerate
even beautiful and sweet
none I see in myself
especially not sensual and sultry




Some see me as being
passionate, unique and gifted
while others call me
complex, iridescent and wicked




Now delectable and perfection
are words surely not me
others still argue that I am
sassy and simply yummy




All fine words these are
oh yes, yes in deed
but disagree, I must
I am simply just ME!

OK I thought I would have a little fun with this. All the words used to describe me were given to me by friends when I did ask the for a one word description of me. Needless to say I DO disagree with them even though I cherish what they all think. I just don't see myself that way I just simply see ME!

    i wouldnt dare ask my friends what they think of me for fear of their answers they might start thinking too deeply youve got lots of nice friends and so its a good way of writing about youself and you come across as modest too

    But as I said I disagree always have and always will until someone can manage to find a way to convince me otherwise.
    As for being single long work on a 4 year stretch as we speak.........LOL

    You can always agree to disagree, but I think you could possibly be selling yourself a little short. You have magical eyes and I'm sure I can see many of the descriptions adding up to be true if I were to base it on your eyes alone. You are beautiful just by the picture alone that accompanies your poem. Thank you for entering!

    This is an outstanding poem as it really captures all that you are to so many. Everyone who knows that your just being yourself makes you as special as you are. Your poetry, your smile, even the sparkle within your eyes, touch so many in so many different ways. I loved this poem very much. I am also glad you had so much fun putting this poetic masterpiece together.
