Quit Complaining

I know you think your life is horrible
Horrid and painful,
Lonely and deteriorated
But it really isn’t that bad

You live in a world of innocence
Your worst problem is having to deal
With people who won’t accept you
People who are critical
or picking out the perfect outfit

Hate to break it to you
Everyone has to deal with that
With the pressure to fit in

But there is so many things worse!

People all over the world
Are starving,
Poor to the bone,
Completely abandoned by their family,
In unwilling battles…

You have it easy
Quit complaining
And grow up
Be mature
Your life could be so much worse
Be thankful for once

Or I will really give you
something to complain about!

    Love it!

    Ouch. Harsh much.
    But thats ok.
Reality isn't supposed to be nice.
    Amazing. Very well expressed.
And it's true. Girls at my school are more obsessed with if their hair looks fine or if they match.
I mean, I gave a report in my English class on what it is like being the daughter of a soldier, and a girl just went, "Please. No one really cares about that. I mean, look at yourself! You don't even match!"
No joke, a girl really did that.
Anyway. I think you expressed this feeling and thought very well.
