Palace of Dark and Light

This palace of dark and light glass,
it's transparent walls of fragile past.
At times it's many rooms shine bright,
filled with spectacular sparkling light.

Has as many rooms of doom seldom seen,
dark and scathing in nightmarish dreams.
Has sturdy floorboards thick in dusty dread,
of frightful things played out in my head.

But in the depths of this palace complex,
exist a small unfailing candlelight's reflect.
Burning brightly in the cellars crawl,
illuminates upwards in elaborate halls.

Occupied are it's mansions many rooms,
with swirls  unfurling in poetic muse.
But that small light seldom finds it's mark,
and I wander around within this palace dark.

Seeking words in spirals casting light,
into my palace dark of relative might.

Stunning piece! It is woven so very well. I have to say I found myself caught up within the images here, sort of rolling along. A wonderful journey though the mind. Awesome job! Happy Easter, Blessings, Gypsy
