In the midst of winter
I found there is within me
an invincible summer
a warm place where lilies
grow tall and strong
Though my heart and soul
have walked through dark valleys
there is a place where
breezes of peaceful joy
hold hope firm

This is so simple and yet so very deep. This truely is a great write and a good message for others. Maybe they can find the invicible summer in themselves. Thank you for sharing

I think most might have a spot like this somewhere in their psyche that allows them to feel hope in the midst of tragedy and despair. There has to be something that allows people to bounce back and regain their life back after depression or suicide attempts. Liked the way you described it.

This poem is really good.
No matter how cold the winter, the summer inside is invinsible. I like that!
