Prayer for My Friends

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You now to humbly offer up my prayers to You. Thank You so much for this day that You have made. Thank You for allowing me to keep living my life even though every day I mess up and sin in some way. I am constantly screwing up and I know that I couldn’t keep going on without You mighty hands watching over me and protecting me. Every time I stop and think of how awesome You are, I realize I can’t even begin to come close to realizing Your splendor. My human mind can’t possibly comprehend it. Father, You are so amazing. You see this world of sin and hatred. You see the people who ridicule You and spit into Your face. You know how they use Your name in vain. Yet You still love each and every one of us. It just blows my mind to think about it. Thank you so much for your ongoing love and support. Even though we might not always feel your presence in our life, You are always here – through the thick and thin. Thank you so much Father for sending your Son to die for us. What an incredible sacrifice for the Creator of the universe to give up His life for all. I know I don’t deserve it and I know sometimes I don’t even show that I am thankful for it. I am so, so sorry for those times in which I am not grateful. Thank You for loving me even when I do not love You back.

Father God, right now I want to just lift up my friends to you. They have been there for me even when I have not always been there for them. They love me through the hard times and the easy times. They are there when I need them to listen and when I need a shoulder to cry on. They encourage me and have helped me in my journey to a true and meaningful relationship with You. Thank you so much for bringing these incredible people into my life.

Lord, I pray for Chelsea and Kim and their family. I pray that you will strengthen them and encourage them today. Send your angels to bless their lives and protect them from Satan’s many attacks. Show them your true love during this time of pain and struggling. Let them feel Your presence now more then ever.

I also want to lift Mary and her fiancé, Andy, up to you. Satan has been working hard on splitting them up. I pray that you will let them pass through this valley in their lives without coming to harm. Please bless their relationship together and let them daily be growing in You. Set a fire within them to stay close to You as well as each other.

Amazing God, I pray for Noble1 and her family. Lord, You know that she has a deep passion for You. May that fire never be extinguished by Satan and his many evil attacks. I pray that she will be blessed all the days of her life, through the dark and light times. I pray for her daughter  that she will be drawn to You. Let the light from her mother sine onto her life and her pain. Let her see You through the tears. I also pray for Noble1’s son that he will be strengthened enough to be able to handle his sister moving soon. Let him seek refuge in both You and his mother.

Please, Father, help Mushy and her family with their move that is coming up. Guide all of their plans with that. Help Mushy and her brother Ben to adjust with the move. Help the good-byes to not be too painful and help her to make some awesome friends where she moves to. Encourage her and let her know that everything will be alright with the move. Give her a peace of mind and the strengths to make it through this time.

I also want to pray for my friend Kara and her relationship with Tommy. You know her heart, Lord, and her feelings for him. Show her what she needs to do and help her make wise decisions. If he is not the one for her, show that to her. Bless their relationship now and in the future, Father.

Be with Beth as she begins to drive. Help her and watch over her. Guide her hands as she drives and the people in the cars around her. Give her encouragement that she needs and help whomever she is driving with not to distract her while she is driving. Thank you for Beth and her loving heart for others. Thank you for her strength and her ability to keep going even when life keeps shoving her down. She shows more strength then a lot of people and I know that in the future that will help her so much. Help her to see the positive in life and not the negative.

Lord, please be with Sandy today. She does so much for so many so I thank you for her. Thank you for bringing her into my life and letting me spend the time talking to her that I do. I pray that you will help her as she has choir practice. She has so many talents that You’ve given her and she uses them to bless Your name. I also pray for Sandy’s daughter as she is trying to quit smoking. Give her daughter the strength she needs as I know it is hard because my brother has been trying to do it for a while. Give her daughter the friends that she needs to be held accountable.

Bless my friend, Bob, and his relationship with Debbie. I pray that you guide their relationship. Help them realize they need to depend on You in everything. May Your glory be present in their relationship. Thank You so much for Bob and his love for You. You’ve given him such an amazing talent for writing poetry and I feel blessed to be able to read his work.

I also pray for Caroline and her life. Lord, I pray that you will help her as she sorts out the whole thing with her ex-boyfriend, Josh. I pray that she will have the wisdom she needs. If their relationship is meant to be, I pray that you make it work out. If not, I pray she will be able to move on and find the true man who is meant for her. I also pray that You will give her strength in every area of her life. When she is down, let her look to You for strength.

Please, Jesus, help Sarah and her relationship with her mom. Give them both a peace about them that will not bring about any harsh words. I pray that even when words are said that they do not really mean, that they will still grow closer to You. I pray that you will strengthen Sarah and encourage her. Show her that You are in control of her life and that she doesn’t need to worry about anything.

Father, I pray for Paul’s son and his family as they move back to Columbus. Thank you for their willingness to go where You call them. Give them a peace that they will know they are doing the right thing. Give them the strength and encouragement to keep going. I also pray that you will provide any finances that they will possibly need for this huge change in their life. Bring people into their life that will help them with this new business. May this coffee shop glorify You in everything.

Please, Lord, give Godsangel the guidance in all areas of her life. Help her to make the decisions that glorify You the most. Give her the wisdom she needs to make the right decisions in all things. I also pray for her dad that Satan will leave him alone so he can break away from his bad habits. Send Your guardian angels to him so he has the strength to break these habits.

Heavenly Father, I pray for my friend Amy. Lord, she is hurting with a lot right now. You see her and You see her pain. I pray that You give her the strength she needs to keep fighting on each day. Give her a reason to quit the self-harm. Lift her up today into your loving arms. Shine your power onto her scars that they might be healed forever. Keep the devil at bay so no more harm might come to her. Bless Amy and her life.

I also want to lift Kristi and her family up. I pray that you place your healing hands upon her sister as she struggles with her bone cancer. I pray that through her hard times You will let her see Your works and see the truth that can only be found in You. I also pray that you give strength to her mom as they are going through this hard time in their lives. Let Your presence be clear in their time of hardships. Let them grow rather then struggle. Help them to see that good does come from all situations, even when it might not seem like it. Be with them now, Father.

Thank you so much for my friend, Bonnie. Father, I want to pray that You place of Your hand of blessing upon her. She does so much for others and yet I know she hardly ever receives anything in return. I pray that You will help her as she was struggling with persecution a little while ago. I pray that you give her the strength to face her daily struggles and the ability to keep on keeping on. I also pray from her friend Susan who has been having suicidal thoughts. I pray that you with be with her now as she is going through these hard times. Give her a reason to keep living. Bring someone into her life that will give her a reason to keep getting out of bed in the morning. Let her feel Your presence in Your life.

Lord, I pray for my friend Ben right now. I pray that you will use him as an example in his family. Give him the wisdom he needs to make the right decisions and the encouragement to know that he is doing the right thing. I also pray that he will have the discernment to know what he should do with his time this summer. Give him the guidance he needs. Let him know that he is making the right decision when he does finally decide. Bless him and his serving heart, Lord.

I pray that you will help Becky with her relationship with her boyfriend. I pray that You will enrich their relationship together. Let them have their eyes fixed on You and that they will never take them off. Bless them and their lives together.

Please help my friend Justin as he is struggling with skepticism about Your holy word. I pray that he will be given the answers that he needs. Please bring someone into his life that can help him interrupt the Bible how You want us to interrupt it. Let him not fall into deception that comes from the enemy, but rather let him be filled with Your knowledge so he might know Your scriptures. Let him not see contradictions, but rather interpretations. Bless him and his ongoing love for others.

My Heavenly Father, I pray for Flo. I pray that she will be given the peace she needs to get through the stress that she is feeling. Give her strength and encouragement; wisdom and healing. When she comes into temptation, let her turn to You and not to the devil. When she comes to the hard times in life, let her seek You first.

Please give Georgi the strength she needs to give it all to You. Let her know that when things get tough that she needs to just let go and give You control. Help her see that You are our true friend who will never let us down. May she learn to trust in You with her whole life, every aspect of it. Also, Father, help her with school. I’m not exactly sure what is going on, but I pray that You will be with her in it.

I also pray for Diamarie and everything in her life. I pray that you help her get through this time of exams. Give her the knowledge she needs to pass her classes and also help keep her stress level down. Let her come to the realization that she can turn to You at any point in her life. Let her learn to rely on You for everything and not turn away. I also pray that you help her with her relationship her special guy friend. If it is Your will that they become closer in their relationship that you will show that to her and that their relationship can be the best it can be.

Father, be with Alecia and her boyfriend. I pray that You will bless their relationship together. I also pray for her boyfriend that he will come to understand what it truly means to be a Christian. Let him feel your presence and let Alecia be a living example of You throughout her life. Let other’s see her and know that You are our living God who reigns most high. Bless her, Lord.

I also lift Milly up to You today. I pray that You will be with her wherever she goes. I’m not sure if she has fully recovered yet from being in the hospital, but I pray that You send Your guardian angels and place them around her so she remains in good health. I also pray that she will find a job if she hasn’t already found one. She is such an incredible woman who has offered her entire life up to You. She has faith much greater then I and I thank You for bringing someone like her into my life.

Father, for Nikki I pray that you give her the strength with her choir. I thank you for her willingness to serve You with her amazing talents. Guide her voice as she sings and let her glorify You with her life. Also, I pray that you bless her friendships in the most amazing way. If it is Your will that she not be friends with someone, let her know that. If You want them to continue their friendship, guide that as well. Please also help her to get through this last little bit of her physical therapy with a breeze. May no other harm come to her that may cause further injury.

Lastly I would like to pray for all the lost who wander alone out there in the darkness. I pray that Your holiness will be shined onto their life. May the Christians around the world be used to be a guide to those who are lost. May you open their minds and hearts to be willing to receive Your message when it is given. May we have the knowledge we need to answer their questions and the wisdom to make the right choices. Let us not use harsh words, but rather be gentle as we speak. May our actions always reflect Your glory.

Lord, I offer these prayers up to You. Thank You for all of these people and thank You for what you are doing in and through them. May they always put You first in their life and never loose sight of the finish line.
