Today I shall share a story
as suggested by the sea wind;
about a rare lass almost impossible to be find
who reads Annabel Lee;
and this may seem like the darkest thing to be
leaving no doubt that no love I will see.
She was wild and the nights were wild
as suggested by the sea wind;
and she read with a passion which was truly a passion –
Poe’s poem Annabel Lee,
with a shadow of the restless spirits of the books
that haunted her and me.
And this is the reason that, right as you read,
as suggested by the sea wind;
a book flipped while untouched, dazzling
the girl who reads Annabel Lee;
thus another book with a highly crafted poem
appeared and captivated her away
to the new pages and lines
as fluid as the sea wind.
All the Epics, Sonnets, Dramas and Romances;
also the Novels, Comedies and mysteries;
yes – all of them prayed together,
as suggested by the sea wind;
and were jealous of any poem
seem by the girl who reads Annabel Lee.
But –her love was stronger than love
of all stories yet to be written
and those written before us –
and neither the epics poems of primordial age
nor the modern labyrinths in an Irish page,
can ever make her stop to be
the girl who reads Annabel Lee.
And now you start to question;
the girl who reads Annabel Lee
and me have any reason to be ?
Reading Annabel Lee,
in her bed, every single night,
even tonight – Just before my sight.
Such are the dreams, as the sea says,
in the poems I will write the rest of my days.

Ah, sending you an IM about this poem
-
I like it when you are happy
You have a very pleasant sense of humour, and the lines come very easy up, so it seems.
-
You always come out with something so very extraordinaire, something so unusual, which make sreading your work even enjoyable, besides the engines you use to create such excellent writes. This is truly amazing and something so rare one could think of. You have gone into the mind of this lass and know what she feels, the lass who reads Poe's Annabel Lee, just fantastic!
Love and light,
Lencio
