This is a Poetry Story written especially for the Young-at-Heart - - - I hope you enjoy it
Want to have a lot of fun
let's wander down the hill
Then take that little sandy path
down past that old-old mill
The path will curve a little
so watch each step you take
You wouldn't want to slip and fall
into that shimmering lake
Now keep your eyes wide open
cause soon you're going to see
Freddie Ferd the Friendly Frog
who'll perform for you and me
He sings so very funny
It's a rib-bit really low
And as he sings that rib-bit song
he dances to and fro
Listen - listen carefully
Do you hear that pretty sound
Freddie Ferd is up ahead
on a stage that's small and round
He loves to play the banjo
when he does his music thing
This frog is so fantastic
he can play and dance and sing
His woodsy friends come visit
and join him in his act
Some who play and some who dance
and some who sing - in fact
Look - there on the fiddle
It's little Ron Raccoon
He does his bestest playing
under light from old man moon
And then there's Chickie Baby
who dances - kicking high
It's so much fun to watch them
You'll laugh until you cry
The shoreline crowds with viewers
to watch this wonderful show
It starts at dusk each evening
won't end while the moon's aglow
Freddie Ferd says -
"Please come back"
he wants you to attend
He thinks you're very special
AND HE WANTS YOU FOR HIS FRIEND
Mr. Doug

I completly agree with InkedVein its great and amazing and something you should be have made into a childrens book having each stanza with an image, like those of the early times that were hand done and painted. Kinda like peter rabbit. It does have a music and rythem all its own and as you read you pick up hints of down country banjo music. Amazingly fantastic thank you for entering the smile you but on my face truely made my day brighter. I will applaud with the botton tomarrow but you deserve so many more then it allows. Bravo encore.

Wonderful
I absolutely love this. It has a wonderfully bright story line with a lively tune that dances in your ears. A perfect tale for for rainy days and hot cookies.
