Two differant people with broken hearts
Wandering listlessly in search of nothing, but needing something
Finding a world of unforgiving elements
Falling deeper into loneliness, wishing they would heal :
The man is a boy with insecurities to share
His heart is cracked but he still has love to share
Th woman still a girl, who doesn't want to be alone
But she hasn't found a heart that she can call a home
The boy just wants love with someone who won't hurt
He needs someone who cares and won't kick him in the dirt
The girl just wants to love someone who actually cares back
She needs someone to protect her and that won't turn her heart black
The boy meets all of the girl's needs, and the girl meets his
And they could be happy with just one small kiss
And even though they know each other, neither one can see
That the answer to this puzzle is: They fit perfectly
The boy will go on searching and the girl will just give up
And neither one will find what could have been perfect love
The moral of this story, I'm sure it will show
Is the love you have been searching for could be right under your nose.

Ironically, this is exactly what happened between myself and the one I love: We had both reached breaking point, had our hearts broken too many times. But, when we met, we realized that, maybe, it was meant to be... And still, nearly seven months later, the fire hasn't died, and I have no regrets about giving my heart and soul to this person. I trust him with my life and, so long as blood courses through my veins, I will continue to love and care for him until my life has reached its end.
