How a rainbow is seen?
Pillows of color for beauty's sake
Reds, purples, blues, and greens
How does a poet put into words
The angst of being alone?
A never-ending spiral of darkness
With nowhere to call a home
How does a poet put into words
The agony of a broken heart?
A wound through the soul, eternal pain
The world is falling apart
How does a poet put into words
The feeling of falling in love
Confusion and wonder, unkown feelings
A gift from heaven above
How does a poet put into words
The meaning of life itself?
Look for the beauty in everything
And enlighten all that you tell
