Jagged roads reflect gentle light
filtered through crooked, bare branches,
arched against a darkling sky.
I follow this path
towards eternal bliss ~
you await my Presence,
gentled eyes filled with Memory's weeping.
I hear your heartbeat
at the end of Infinity,
sacred in silence
& drifting in Dream.
Colorless,
I seek the rainbow promise
of your soothing Soul
after tempests
too numerous to bear...

Heartfelt
Very heartfelt write...Stirring too many emotions in me for me to comment much...Keep up the awesome work. -
oh, what a good poem! You can absolutely feel the heatbreak in it. Which is sad for you but good for the reader to feel a connection to it. Very nicely done. I'm not usually a fan of poetry that doesnt rhyme but this was good. I loved the last lines. I'm sorry for your loss. I know how that is. My dad died when I was 7.
