Let time pass:
even the wind blows focus,
- the water drowns hope,
- the fire burns desire,
- the earth hinders path;
"Je marcherai par les routes de mon coeur."
There'll be no night
Yet days for me to explore like a knight,
To reach out to life's endless line of sight.
even the wind blows focus,
- the water drowns hope,
- the fire burns desire,
- the earth hinders path;
"Je marcherai par les routes de mon coeur."
There'll be no night
Yet days for me to explore like a knight,
To reach out to life's endless line of sight.

To face one's destiny without flinching is to meet death dead on. For death will be the final chapter written in everyone's life story. It is only a matter how one lives in order to die. Nicely done and good luck in the contest.

i see... the poem is about hope and how does a certain person face it and then conquer it. even there's many obstacles on the run of life, an ego to challenge every problem is on one's own self. he is the one that controls his/her own destiny, on its beholder. Mon Destin (My Destiny). nice contest and good luck on judging it. chao..

I like this piece, its simplicity and great use of form. The French adds a bit of romance to the piece (probably just me..lol)
Very nice work.
