honesty

Do we ever remeber
Who we once were
Human beings
Never seeing
What we really are
Taking life to a limit, never knowing how far
We use our lives up
Like were just pouring out some cup
Pouring our lives down the drain
Do we ever feel the pain
The pain we ause others
People like our fathers and mothers
Never know where wer at
Always thinking were to thin or fat
People may call you a freak
Or maybe even a geek
But you are who you wanna be
just remember to be it honestly

That poem is really good. I liked the usage of words and rhyme, it provided a good flow and understanding of the text.

I like this, I find the philosophy of 'be who you want to be' much more interesting than that tired old 'be yourself' cliche, and you capture that well. It seems a good reflection on life as a whole, particuarly from a young person's point of view. Well done.

This is so awesome! You relayed this message so well. I couldn't agree more. Your rhyming schemes were great and kept the poem flowing nicely. I just can't get over the message behind this. "But you are who you wanna be, just remember to be it honestly." I love that. Well done!
