Cookie Crumbs (Cinquain)

Crumbled
Scattered about
Like how life can become
Don’t let your life lose its meaning
Like crumbs

Author notes

A cinquain has 5 lines and a syllable count of: 2-4-6-8-2.

I wrote this for an assignment in the class I'm in here on AllPoetry. I haven't finished the entire assignment, but this is one part of it. A simple poem with a powerful meaning.

Smacks of wisdom, with its simplicity and straightforwardness, just as this write reveals so clearly.

Like I said, "You'll be an awesome man!"

Mmmm...cookies! I like the metaphore. See, I've always considered myself a "tough cookie", but even cookies crumble! And that ties right into your poem. Good job!

Dear son, I think you meant to use "lose" instead of "loose" in the fourth line. What a wonderful start to this assignment. Unfortunately it makes me extremely hungry for cookies!!!!
