Perfect by design

Angelic beauty, angelic radiance
Snug within the warmth of
All her heavenly brilliance,
Cosmically aligned,
Carefully refined,
She's perfect by design.

No clandestine mystery
Or "woe is me" philosophy,
She's the poets muse, destiny
The dreamer's fantasy.

Her every word is poetry
Perfected and personified,
In an age destined for demise
She neither runs or tries to hide.

Her every move releases me,
She's everything you'd hope to be,
Flawlessly pure of heart and mind,
She is perfect by design.

Author notes

I'm a sucker for romance, and I like to pay tributes to people that positively influence me.

Perfection is a strong word... but muses are that, at least in the eyes of the inspired. However, in this section:
    No clandestine mystery
    Or "woe is me" philosophy
    She's the poets muse, destiny
    The dreamer's fantasy

I would strongly suggest replacing "poets" with either "poet's" or "poets'" which, of course, depends on whether you wish it to be plural or singular.

I would also suggest punctuation at the ends of the lines. In my opinion, a semblance of grammar adds strength to the work.

I really enjoyed the way the words were formatted on this write. It was allowed to breath but not hyper-ventilate. Your choice of the lines that went with the design theme were natural and not pushed to make things happen that really weren't there. Also the conveyance of affection was pure and honest not ushy gooshy. Actually, its kind of a mature romantic piece. Thanks for sharing. RC

    romantic and fantastic!

oh so sweet. lovely writing! it flows so nicely and has a great rhythm to it. it could be that your subject helped you out, but this seems flawless! the rhymes do not sound forced and the emotion shines through! wonderful piece, best of luck with your writings in the future!

this one just made me feel like i was at peace...i kind of wish i was like that...i'm too clutzy though...ha!

anyways, back to the poem, it was just simply marvelous. their was such a subtle beauty to it. i wasn't overwhelmed by it, thus i feel as if she's a good thing, not a bad thing for the rest of us to be compared to, in a sense

everything about it is so PERFECT, there's just that something about it, i don't know...i'm wish you knew what i was trying to say, but i can't put it in words...just know this, this is probably the most beautiful poem you've written that i've read, in my opinion of course

by the way, any girl you had in mind while you wrote this, because she must be one heck of a muse! lol.

love ya tons and tons babe,

    Beautiful Beyound Compare

Oh how lovely and beautiful. The flow in itself is sweet to the ears and flutters before the eyes. Your emotion drips like honey from the comb, it fills this piece so wholely. This is perfect, and just the poem to read on such a beautiful day. Please never stop penning words with ink from emotion.

    Extraordinary write Love,
