Clinging To The Unspoken Word

I cling
to your words
that are unspoken.
For they speak of an
unconditional
love.

I have always believed that words can belie intent, but true feelings can show in the actions of a person. Just a few days ago, I met this person (because that is, in my mind, all he is worthy of being called, a person) who suddenly declared himself my "man". So, since I find no attraction, no chemistry and not too much else of an incentive to be with him, I am putting him through a test, doing all that I can to get him away from me. I can't shake him, I suppose because he is hell bent on me being his (but, since he deathly annoys me, it won't happen if I can help it.) Some of the things he is doing...and also what I'm hearing...shows the pressure to be in a relationship. I am not ready and wouldn't want one with him anyway; however, I think some things are subconsciously done and we may be unaware of him. (So sorry for ranting on your page!) I think we are all better for reading between the lines. This is absolutely beautiful, one of the best poems I think I've ever seen of yours. Hopefully, I will perfect the art of listening with my heart.

    Many blessings,

    Raven Aurora

sometimes actions speak louder than words and...love even louder. Keep up the great work and thanks for your kind comments on my latest work.
