There is a path, way out back,
beyond the wood.
It starts out just fine, as far as paths go;
leads away between the trees.
And there we stand,
the trees and me, rooted upon the path,
them with sentry'd limbs,
mine drawn in tight repose
held by simple fear and dread.
It's dark in there,
no telling where it goes,
maybe wolves or worse
trolls and gobbling
bugs munching along the way;
yes, it's best
to turn around and go.
There is a path, way out
back, just beyond
the wood.
I go there
sometimes and wonder where
it leads; i wonder
where it leads.

I can relate and understand this piece both literally and metaphorically. We turn and run when are afraid but are haunted by the lack of knowledge. The only was we can truly advance in life is by overcoming or facing our inner most fears. Good job blessed be,

My Friend Sometime the woods will lead you to a place to mediate. I seek the wood because of my spirit Animals. I seek the wood for peace and if one think they will find what they are looking for like how to seek God. How to seek love, how to find who they are and want to be. The woods is peace and love to me. The path will lead you to many ways of life. Go and Seek what you are lookng for. Be Strongth and be with God.
