Sweet little fairy princess slumbers on candy cake dreams,
and sherbet filled skies with sugar sprinkled moonbeams.
Her mind softly drifts off into fantasy of a far away land,
with white knight dragon slayers and castles made of sand.
The water gently flows around a rainbow melon stuffed bed,
while sugar plumed fairy tales dance in this lil sprites head.
Fragile wings and many fancy curls adorn this precious one,
which sleeps soundly with her dreams of having so much fun.
Thinking of what she'll do for her next great day planned,
to build steps of lemon drops with just a wave of her hand.
So go on little Angel and sleep, till your ready to wake.
From the dreams of yesterday, that today you will partake.

My dear gets,
I noticed above, both Malabu and Angel of Wolves have made comment here. I loave and cherish them both greatly. Many times over has Dear Mally brought a smile to my face with both his words and his loving soul. And Angel of Wolves, well what can I say? She is my sister and I love you her to death. Her heart and her poetry speak volumes! Both know me well and know I am not usually one to request help from others to find inspiration. My muse seems to have gone on vacation and I am trying to get it to return.
Yes, I agree to allow you in this contest not knowing you and never have reading anything by you prior to this very piece. And yet upon receiving your IM I was extremely hesitant in telling you "No" straight out. Something told me I needed to see what you were about. Who you were, who you are, And so I went to your page. I sat that there is awe as I read and scrolled down and my heart ached for you and I cried. It was at that moment something told me I had to let you in this contest. Telling me you HAD to be here, be a part of it and now I can see why.
You have won my heart, my respect, and my friendship. I am honored to call you a friend and have you here among the many that have inspired me in so many ways since I have joined this site. I will be keeping you on my favorites list and intend to read more of your work in the future.
This piece you have written has brought me to tears and that is not easily done. The beauty of the write is unbelievable. I never expected anything wuite like this. I have a 5 yr old duaghter who this reminded me of so much and I have every intention of reading this to her. And with your permission I would like to print this out and have it framed to hang in her room.

awe....Gets.....this is sucha sweet poem to Moons....with a wistful aura to it....honestly I never thought of her this way but seems all the more fitting of her.....this she be.....inside her tree of life.....wishes and dreams be sent her way with the solice of ones heart.....wake to all the wonderful things in life she soon take part.....I really like this song you sing for her with the beauty to filling air......
