Weary of another day
Of this dim dark dust storm.
This thing doesn’t go away.
Oh for the back home norm.
I think I’ll up and fly away
With my chopper’s propeller blade
Performing motions nowhere staid
With fear of harm nowhere waylaid.
Before this war I had no fear.
I'm in Iraq much to my sorrow.
Maybe I’ll see sunlight here
Tomorrow

Fortunately, more and more are disillusioned about this war. Perhaps Bush will be seen for the criminal that he is and will be impeached and removed from office. I hope that will be the case. He is using the excuse of this war to extend his power to the extreme. He wants to attack Iran next, I think.

Touching ending indeed. I enjoyed the poem that brought hopes in the society. I don't believe in wars of any kind. Just breaks my heart to see all this are happening around you. Great write.
wish you the best

What a very touching ending - the one word "tomorrow" - to a moving and thought-provoking poem.
Tiki must have had her serious head on!

Different what you normally write. Very thought provoking, I like your stance on this war. I don't believe in any war of any sort, and as such this piece appealed to me.
Great write,
Rich
