Bringing Life (Haiku)

Laughing, bright sunbeams
Exploding with love and joy
Bringing life to all

Author notes

Alright, I just wrote this off the top of my head. This is only the second haiku that I've written and posted onto the site. I think I counted the syllables right. If I didn't, let me know.

Have you ever stopped and just looked at the sun? Isn't it just amazing? Or how about taken a picture of the sun? Well, that's what this poem was inspired by.

I'm glad you chose this one to read This is probably the best one of I've written... I mean, as far as imagery and such goes. I wrote a good love haiku, but it wasn't really about nature or anything. Thanks for your comment

    Very good.

I liked your use of imagery here. It seemed to convey more of the joy of the sun as apose to the sun itself. This was well written. I enjoyed this very much. I commend you for wiritng haikus. You know they are not easy to write by any means. Great work.

Hey Carrie! Thanks so much for your comment. Ya, I know I said I can't write very good ones. I guess when I actually try to write them, I can't do it. But when I just write them really quick like this one, they come out pretty good I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Ha! You said you couldn't write very good haikus! And here is a really great one! That's kind of like me with acrostics. I'm not that good at them, but once in a while I write one that everyone thinks is wonderful. This is so beautiful, though. Awesome job!

    brilliant

i love taking pictures of the sun when it's reflecting off of some water or whatnot. I just took a picture of the sun when i went on a trip to florida and it was absolutely amazing. I loved your short poem. I think it's cute and i think that shorter poems say a lot more than longer poems sometimes.

your syllables are right first off all and secondly, this is really beautiful. Your right, the sun is amazing if you actually stop and look at it whether it's rising, of setting, it is so miraculous. It never ceases to remind me of God's perfect order in the world that He has created. It also rises and always sets, never stopping....amazingly
