Author notes
The background was designed by me using Bryce 5. Then the logo was designed using Photoshop CS. All work for this graphic was done by myself.
To kryspin: If you want anything changed, let me know. I still have the original PSD so I can change it.

I'm really glad you like it.

This has a Gothic, mysterious feel to it. Which I must confess SPIDICATED feel this way a lot of days. I can feel this logo, it sizzles. EXCELLENT! Thank you for another fine entry. The best to you i n this challenge.
Much Love,
Renee

Reminds me of pimp my ride.
Anyways, great logo dear! *frowns* Crap, I can't find anything bad with it. *sighs* I should just, you know, kinda go on a rampage of mean things to say, but I can't without laughing about it later.
Ah well, you know how it is.
Maybe not. Oh whatever, I'll stop now.
*God Bless*

This is a really cool logo, however I agree with above comments about the letters being a bit too translucent. I would like to see the letters pop out at me. I really love the style of text and the green background. Really great work overall. I don't even know how to make these, so kudos for you! Have an applaud

I totally love the wicked green and silver flash background, and the font used for the letters too.
The graphic itself is awesome, the only thing I would change period is to pump up and pull out the text a bit more by making it shinier or to appear as 3-D maybe, I don't know something to draw the text out more so it stands out more than blends in.
Awesome work.
Clappie for you. :

Wow! You make me jealous
(Thats ok!Cuz REAL genuine art is so much better that that photo-shoped stuff)
{Jk!} I saw the contest this was for previously, and recalling what it described, I do believe this will impress the judges...it seems to fit the "SPINDICATED" style so perfectly. Best wishes in the contest. Your artwork is amazing.

noworries, i critique my own stuff way worse. ALL NO GOOD!!! lol i mean if this is potentially a masthead logo on our e-mag, it'd be nice to know if it could be improved at all to be the best it could be
truenough kryspin does like it. i'd just be curious coz i love ice blue when i play with my photos. sorry i wasn't clear enough; i meant for the background to become blue and off-white not the font. but that's personal preference. no chrome?
that's ok, it's hard to pull off to make look 3D unless you're up for the challenge
the green is tight though. i just thought of the current background on the e-mag. but change is always good, if we're a year old, maybe it's time to get something new
cheers dude

I must thank you, Phil, for being one of the first people to give me an honest critique on my artwork. You actually have suggested something...
I have two other designs that I plan on entering into the contest as well.
Kryspin liked the green colors on it so I think she might be changing the magazine's colors to match, but we'll see.... I might change the font to stand out a little bit more, but I don't think a chrome feel would be good with this font and the style of the background. Chrome isn't really my style, if that makes sense. Now, when you said how would it look in ice blue... are you talking about the font? If I change that color, it will probably be to a light green to match the color scheme that is already present. Or are you talking about the background? I could do that too if you thought it would look better.
Thanks for your comment

shiny
it's quite tight with the background looking all electrified. a couple of tiny suggestions in my humble opinion
could the lettering be a bit less translucent to stand out more? only reduced 10% or so. either that or a bit chromed? i like shiny things!!
also how would it look in ice blue and bluish tinged white? i mean the background for the issues of the emag have always been with that blue bubbly backdrop. but the green looks wicked, does it need match the magazine's colour scheme? could you convince kryspin and sell her on greenish hues to match? hehe
anyways other then that, the font is funky with the shadow as well, cool looking entry for a logo
good luck

Tell me exactly what you want, what colors, what words, maybe give me some points, and then give me credit on whatever you use it on... I'm assuming it would be your page? And I'll do it for you
Look at some of my other pictures that I've done to see what all I can do. Thanks for your comment and applaud
