The beast had lost all hope,
He knew his fate was approaching,
Who could ever love this pitiful creature, this ugly thing,
Then one day this angel, this beauty, came into his domain,
He tried so hard to win her love,
But his temper always failed him,
Then one day out of nowhere a miracle in his eyes,
This beautiful thing, this gorgeous creature, came to love him,
The beast was lucky, his horrible fate paused,
Then he was gone, gone from her grasp,
So one last kiss for her one true love, the kiss that lasted a life time....

this is so sad. i have also entered this contest and i came up with something entirely different. this has a sad ending where mine did not. it is great though. teaches a lesson that many have learned the hard way. viyanna r langager
