I feel the need to write
About hurt
Torture
Pain
These things are experienced
By people every day
All across the world
What's special about mine?
Everyone feels their own
I feel my own
Some choose not to divulge
I feel the need to share
I am cursed with the ability to feel
Things that are not from this world
That is why my pain is set apart
Because it is not seen in this world
I fight from time to time
On this other plane
Sometimes without realising
But the results are most definitely evident
I have not been trained long
My skills somewhat lax
But my pain is still equal
To that of the rest of the world
Author notes
Hmm, seems a tad selfish, methinks. :s

I especially loved this segment:
I am cursed with the ability to feel
Things that are not from this world
That is why my pain is set apart
Because it is not seen in this world
I fight from time to time
On this other plane
Sometimes without realising
But the results are most definitely evident

I love your honesty!!!!!!!!!...I'm not a poet who lives by the golden rule of "form" and "structure". No, rather I believe in more emotion and more feelings. Make readers jump for joy, bow their head in shame, or weep until it hurts and they will ALWAYS return for more. For structure may be good for the eyes but emtion will touch the heart. VERY GOOD, ....keep 'em coming...A+

i don't find it selfish.
"Because it is not seen in this world"
because it isn't. people can go through similiar experiences...such as life..no one can be inside you and feel the hurt or pain that tears throughout the mind.
an honest write.
good work.
