Amidst the unassuming shadows,
from a figure shy but stout,
flows an eloquence of speech;
and though gifted to reach hearts
in a way that could sky rocket
a permanent platform of his own,
he chooses instead to use his talent
for timely encouragements.
Following a SPIRIT of guidance,
he gently nudges the talents of others,
with encouraging words and positive prophesies;
speaking things into existence that may as of yet not be.
And for this he asks nothing, nor does he expound
on all the lives he has improved,
with such a gift profound.
but upon completion,
humbly bows back into
the waiting recluse,
to be used again by GOD.
And though he has not asked for this,
I thought it only fair to give him
what is long past due.
So for all you’ve done, dear Ellis… Thanks!

What a wonderful tribute you've written here. It's been so long since I've read the works of this poet but I do remember his skill and talent. You have reminded me that I truly need to pay a visit!
