Claws outstretched,
He arches his back like
A harp. I
Run my fingers down his
Little spine, playing this feline
Instrument, rejoicing in
Every note, every purr.
Author notes
I chose Option #3. Charlie is my cat.

Awwww. Now I wanna pat my cat! Cute write -
Aaaaw! I'm curled up with my kitty right now as I write. I love cats. My orange tabby has a lot of personality. Every morning he runs to watch me out the window as I leave for work. I love my beagle too. She is a sweetie. This is a great poem by the way.

What a unique piece of writing you have here! I really like it, especially being a cat lover myself.
I agree with the person above me: "he arches back like a harp" was a really nice touch to the poem.
