I'd Tell Myself

If I could travel back
Far into my past
And tell myself some things
I'd make memories that would last

I'd tell myself to try to stand out
Never become just one in a crowd
I'd tell myself to speak my mind
To let my opinions be said aloud

I'd tell myself to keep my dreams
To not let my plans be upset  
I'd tell myself that when I do something wrong
To go easy on me and to never have a regret
