The Walk

Behind the lies we live with
Beneath the eye of God
Stands the simple sinner
In ignorance shod

That learning is a must
Once innocence is gone
In remembrance bow
That His word may live on

Though the walk is never easy
The objective out of sight
Be weary not to wonder
And be quick to spread the light

Is this a prayer? I am not sure... but it is within the spirit of prayer.
