Heaven

Missing image

          Stillness. Refreshing peace.
          Pure. Bright. Enthralling.
          Streets of gold. Living in

          Perfect harmony. Awestruck.
          Everything surrounded in
          Beauty. Love and serenity

          Fills every soul. No pain.
No hatred. No sin. Such a
          Wonderful feeling.

          Presence of God. Joyfulness.
          Beautiful songs of praise. Eternity
In paradise. Eternity in this perfection.

Picture ©2006 to Sharcu.

I designed the picture using Bryce 5 for the initial picture and then Photoshop CS for fix-ups. The poem is written in the style that I've started writing in recently - incomplete, short sentences. This poem can come no where close to what heaven will truly be like, but I hope you enjoyed reading it.

    uplifting. great poem

I would applaud, but I have none left. I realy live this poem. It's hard to sum up heaven. I know, I've tried. I'm a fellow brother in Christ Jesus. So, it's great to see another beleiver on here. I also long for that day when I get there. This is what I needed

They way you describe Heaven is neat...in our tiny little minds, this is what we have to go on. Won't it be AWESOME to finally get to Heaven and find that it was WAY more than we ever imagined!!! I can't wait to bask in His full glory!!

actually, the sight of the pic u used....made me flash back. anyways, (can i here u say "ya..." )
mhm! serenity! yes!!! u've nailed it mate...i luv how that stanza (ending with serenity) connects with the next because of the way u cut the sentences... sweet man!
i do wonder....what a soul looks like... *dreams*, but thats off the subject...
mMm, our home...and we don't even hav the capacity to imagine the beauty... perfection. how can our corrupt minds even use that word, if we hav never seen it...tho a taste mayb...mhm...
food for thought, the way i like it

It's very beautiful thinking of the words and then using my imagination.. usually I don't like this kind of style (although it still is great), but with this one, I was able to think. When you said certain words I thought of certain things. Because it's heaven, no one can argue that what we think will be there isn't there until we all find out. Well with the exception of Satan and bad things, we know he isn't there.
Anyways. I really loved this, left my mind to think of what I wanted to and see my own perception.

    Example of what I mean:

    Refreshing peace

.. it's embarrassing that I write it now but I thought of the water fall I went in in Puerto Rico.. it was beyond refreshing and then the peace you had, knowing you were in something so amazing that God made and few saw and appreciated.. I'll stop, I guess that was a little corny, my connection eh? *laughs nervously*

    *God Bless*
