Hi FifthDove!!!! Long time no see Wonderful entry. So easy to visualize her empty chair being rocked by the wind. I still have my mom-in-law's chair and think of her often sitting there reading her Bible. Best wishes in the contest~vj

I have been thinking about blind grandma a lot lately. I even had a dream about her. She was talking to me telling me she had a secret but someone woke me up before she told me. Also she had clear eyes she could see me

I too hold fond memories of gran and her rocking chair.
This did make me a little sad to write though. I miss her so very much. After all these years, I can still see her rocking in it. Thank you for the lovely comment, I am happy I brought a loving memory back to you. Cindy

    Excellent

I LOVE this. That is one of my fondest memories of my grandmother sitting on her front porch. What you have written here brought back such lovely memories of my grandmother. Thank You.
