Cold waves undulating
Upon the radiant shore
Seagulls take flight
As fiery skies concede
To the ocean's boundary
And the moon hangs low
Spreading forth
Iridescent light
Making pathways
Upon darkened water
A haunting breeze
Embraces the beach
With salty burst of air
Energizing nature
As day gives birth
to night

Thank you very much for reading and commenting on this piece... it's a sunset on the beach... and there's nothing quite as magical as the sun setting over the Pensacola beach... it's pure beauty...
Again, thanks for reading! ~Melissa -
