Happy Birthday, Blushfulmoon
For a dear friend and poetess
A flower bloomed one moonlit night
As the moon blushed overhead
It shone upon this miracle
Whose never ending love was spread
The years ahead brought forth delight
For all who looked upon this bloom
Her light shone brightly over all
Throughout the land, defying gloom
This flower came into our lives
To all within allpoetry
With rhyme and verse and stroke of pen
Words from her heart for all to see
So if you look within her heart
Or hear it beating softly here
You’ll know you’ve been blessed again
By Blushfulmoon, our friend so dear
So Happy Birthday, dear Susan
Whose muse inspires such sweet verse
May you have many more to come
Spreading joy through the universe

Blushfulmoon's birthdayis today, March 25th. She's been such a dear and loving friend to me and others on the site. I hope my poem expresses at least some of how I feel about Susan and her loving thoughts and friendship.

WOW...what a wonderful and glowing birthday tribute. I don't think there could be a better gift than that of a special poem to honor the person and the occasion.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Susan... belated, since I haven't been around for a while.
Dee...I'm sure this touched her heart and soul. What a wonderful gift, so beautifully and tenderly written!!!

This is so sweet and graceful. Very elegantly written, with nice use of rhyme. I can feel the emotion in this piece. I especially liked when you said that the flower came to AllPoetry. Great job!
