With the coming of spring
The sweet aroma of the flowers, a warm breeze gently brings,
As the sun rises, as the mist rises from the streams
The smell of wet grass, the warm fresh air, it feels as if I'm in a dream
I find myself just sitting, feeling the sun's warm rays
I am smiling, a feeling of calm, contentment, I know I'm looking at a beautiful day
The birds are singing, the robins are hopping along, looking for breakfast
They are darting here and there, I stop and think they are very fast
The air is getting warmer, my father left a long list of work for me
I had better start for later there will come time to play and see
To walk in the woods, their shade so cool, the animals at play
There, for the rest of the day I will stay
So my dreams of spring have come once again
Brought hope and anticipation to me so I can begin
I can enjoy the beauty, the wonder of all that is this world in which we live
I can share with everyone what to me God did so lovingly give

The key word there is CAN.... not to mention all your senses you use just to even write this kind of poetry.... some people cant even think..... or maybe they choose just not too... who knows.... freewill... and can do!

Spring always brings fresh new feelings and happiness, as the season changes from cold and dark to warm and fresh so do our feelings. Anticipation of what new things await us around each corner. Spring always makes us feel more alive as mother nature starts to wake everything up again. It makes you glad to be alive
